Kundera, that simple phrase convinces me you knew:)
It is not enough to walk below galactic blessing
I thirst to swallow galaxies
feel them slush down my esphogaus
to crack the ice-moon between my teeth
sending shivers down my spine.
The cinnamon sun must melt on my tongue
my limbs grow bark when I embrace the oaks
to rip my hands through air, a current
I thirst to meld, mold, devour
possession, possession
of this -- Eternal Now.
I wrap my arms so tightly
to take up so little space,
to take up no space at all,
oh for fusion to exist.
I am ravenous from wonder,
lusting for deep awakeness
but this want for life
is a wound awaiting sutures,
is the death rattle of starved appetities
listen:
approach each person barefoot,
encountering holy ground.
listen:
live like making love
this strongly, urgently
for there is nothing else
Fearless, for you can lose nothing
you can not be robbed of this
Give your love away
drench the earth with mercy
litter earth with bearable weight.
Speak, bravely:
Here is no fear in loving,
only to be deep, deep awake.
